This arrangement of the three-part collection published in 1905 is based on Fritz Kreisler's original version as well as later pianoforte transcriptions by Sergei Rachmaninoff. The harmonies, chromatic developments and even the counterpoint of the piano transcriptions remain unchanged; original and transcription combine to create a virtuoso and effective solo piece. The three-four time typical of Vienna demands a certain, hardly noticeable freedom of tempo without constraints of a metronome.

Cet arrangement du recueil en trois parties publié en 1905 se base sur la version originale de Fritz Kreisler ainsi que sur les transcriptions ultérieures pour piano de Sergueï Rachmaninov. On y retrouve les harmonies, les développements chromatiques et même la contrapuntique des transcriptions pour piano ; l'original et la transcription se mêlent en un solo virtuose et efficace. La mesure à 3/4 typiquement viennoise requiert pourtant une certaine liberté, quasi-indécelable, du tempo, sans contrainte métronomique.
