The piece tries to adopt the idea of a warm flute tone full of harmony, and at the same time be easy to play and catchy. Nothing seemed to be suited better than the light that radiated by celestial bodies and has been celebrated in song so often: deriving pleasure from the bright light and sultry warmth of the sun; sentimental thoughts under the pale light of the moon; and the joy one feels when looking at sparkling stars. A flute piece - just for fun.

Le morceau devait s'adonner à l'idée du son chaleureux et plein d'harmonie de la flûte tout en étant léger et facile d'accès. Les trois mouvements associent la joie face à la clarté et à l'accablante chaleur du soleil, les pensées sentimentales éprouveés sous la pâle lueur de la lune et les impressions sereines en contemplant les étoiles. Une pièce pour flûte - simplement pour le plaisir.
