Sleigh Ride is a composition of British composer Frederick Delius (1862-1934). It is a typical piece by Delius that fits the style of his (much) later miniatures as On hearing the first cuckoo in spring. In Sleigh Ride, the sled comes from afar, comes along and then disappears again into the distance. There are numerous recordings of this work, which is primarily found on albums with Christmas music. An excerpt of Sleigh Ride was used in the 2010 TV commercial for the Glade Winter Collection.
