Released in 1937, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was the world's first feature-length animated film, created by the determined genius of Walt Disney, and was the top-earning film globally until the 1940 appearance of "Gone With the Wind". The brilliantly romantic score has endured for more than 80 years with favorites including One Song, Whistle While You Work, With a Smile and a Song, Heigh-Ho, The Silly Song, Chorale for Snow White and Someday My Prince Will Come.
This special arrangement by Hiroki Takahashi performs wonderfully for larger and smaller bands alike, with optional parts to complete the fullest ensemble desired. Takahashi intermingles the frivolity of the dwarfs' melodies with the charming princess themes, framing the work with Someday My Prince Will Come. Please enjoy this rich rendition of film score history.
