In opdracht van de Koninklijke Marechaussee componeerde Eric Swiggers de Prinses Maxima Mars. De première vond plaats in de tuinen van landgoed Eikenhorst in het bijzijn van prinses Máxima en prins Willem-Alexander, uitgevoerd door het fanfareorkest van de Koninklijke Marechaussee. Het toen nog prinselijk paar was zeer verguld met de nieuwe mars. Máxima is nu ook verkrijgbaar voor harmonieorkest.
