Honeysuckle Rose

Honeysuckle Rose Fats Waller / Arr. Inge Sunde

Serie / Series: FLEX 5 ShowBlow
A great swing number for the upcoming concert, and it will surely be fun for both musicians and audience.

Honeysuckle Rose is one of the most common jazz standards.
The charismatic Thomas "Fats" Waller released the song in 1929, and through the years it has been recorded more than 500 times, by artists including Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Coleman Hawkins, Earl Hines, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Lena Horne and Nat King Cole.

This light jazzy swing tune is arranged for flexible ensembles that makes it playable for many combinations of wind instruments.
Important note for both conductor and musician: Make sure to follow the tempo marking, not too fast (quarter note/BPM 120)!
