Besides 'Happy Hour' and 'Adventure Games', Ennio Salvere wrote this excellent suite for youth band. The first movement 'Good Friends' is a light sounding parade march; the second movement 'Lonely Bird' is rather a lyrical ballad with a slightly swinging accompaniment; the third part 'Rock-A-Cha-cha' brings a fine contrast, whereas the final part 'Spring Song' is a kind of rhythmical folk dance. Skilled conductors might recognize the hand of the master using this new pen name.

Outre 'Happy Hour' et 'Adventure Games', Ennio Salvere a également écrit cette belle suite pour orchestre junior. D'abord il y a la marche de défilé entraînante 'Good Friends' (de bons amis), suivie d'un chant lyrique 'Lonely Bird' (l'oiseau solitaire) avec un léger accompagnement swing. La troisième partie 'Rock-A-Chacha' forme un beau contraste, quand à la partie finale 'Spring Song' chant de printemps) celle-ci nous apporte une danse populaire rythmée. Les chefs chevronnés reconnaîtront certainement la 'patte' d'un maître connu.

Eerst is er de pittige mars 'Good Friends' gevolgd door een lyrische ballade 'Lonely Bird' met een licht swingende begeleiding. Het meer exotische derde deel 'Rock-A-Chacha' vormt een mooi contrast, terwijl het slotdeel 'Spring Song' iedereen met een lekkere beat de dansvloer opjaagt.
