This work drew its inspiration from the famous picture of the Virgin Mary 'Gnadenbild Mariahilf' (1537) by Lucas Cranach the Elder which shows Mary as a woman of delicate beauty and modest sensuality without the usual attributes of the Virgin Mary. The work for oboe and organ was premiered in Kronach, where Lucas Cranach was born, in March 2017.It is also available in a version for solo organ (Schott, ED 22844).

Cette uvre a été inspirée par le tableau de la Vierge exécuté par Lucas Cranach l'Ancien en 1537, qui représente Marie avec une humble volupté de femme à la beauté délicate, sans ses attributs habituels.La composition originale est pour hautbois et orgue (Schott Music, ED 22863). La première a eu lieu à Kronach, ville de naissance de Lucas Cranach, en mars 2017.Une version solo pour orgue est également disponible (Schott, ED 22844).
