This exciting work by Ed Huckeby is based on the concept of "sevens." After a bold and dramatic introduction in 7/4, an alternating series of 2+2+3 and 3+2+2 rhythmic ostinati provides a foundation for invigorating syncopated melodic lines, interspersed with a series of changing meter and contrasting moods.
