The Levanna march by Donald Furlano won the ''Città di Gubbio'' (Perugia) 1st International Music Competition for the composition of parade march music dedicated to the ''Festa dei Ceri'' in Gubbio. The piece draws inspiration from the Italian military march tradition, whilst setting itself apart for the originality of its harmonic content in Trio. Giangi, by composer Claudio Pierotti, is - on the other hand - a splendid parade march.
Der Marsch Levanna von Donald Furlano gewann den 1. Internationalen Wettbewerb 'Citta di Gubbio' (Perugia) für die Originalkomposition eines Straßenmarsches für den traditionellen Kerzenlauf in Gubbio. Das Werk ist von der Tradition der italienischen Militärmärsche inspiriert, zeichnet sich aber durch die harmonische Originalität im Trio aus. Giangi von dem Komponisten Claudio Pierotti ist dagegen ein brillanter Straßenmarsch.
