The Easy Concert Pieces series presents easy piano pieces for beginners in progressive order. Three volumes have already been published. These pieces are intended to complement a piano tutorial method and are particularly suitable for performance at auditions, concerts, competitions and examinations. They offer varied repertoire in a broad selection of pieces from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern eras. Volume 1 (ED 22547) is meant for beginners. The pieces span a single octave and stay within five-finger positions. Other criteria for the selection of the pieces are simple rhythms and very easy chord playing. Crossing the thumb under, polyphony and pedal are not required yet.Volume 2 (ED 22548) extends the range to two octaves. Hand turns (crossing the thumb under), pedal, simple polyphony and three- or four-part chords all feature in Volume 2, as do simple ornaments, playing cantabile and differentiating between melody and accompaniment. Volume 3 (ED 22549) is aimed at advanced players who wish to refine their expression and personal interpretation. The pieces demand a great deal of dexterity, a high sense of rhythm, articulation and phrasing, polyphonic playing (polyphony even in one hand) and tonal differentiation of the piano setting.

Pour la série « Easy Concert Pieces », Monika Twelsiek, pédagogue de piano expérimentée, a assemblé des pièces pour piano faciles et plaisantes pour des débutants et les a publiées en trois volumes dans un ordre progressif. Les trois volumes doivent être des ajouts à une méthode de piano et sont idéaux pour des représentations dans des écoles de musique, des examens et des concours. Le répertoire est varié, en offre un grand choix de pièces baroques, classiques, romantiques et modernes. Le volume 1 (ED 22547) peut être utilisé par des débutants. L'étendue des pièces est limitée à l'échelle pentatonique et l'ambitus d'une simple octave. D'autres critères pour le choix de pièces sont des rythmes simples et des accords très faciles. Ce volume n'exige pas encore la maîtrise du passage du pouce, de la polyphonie et de la pédale. Für die Reihe Easy Concert Pieces hat die erfahrene Klavierpädagogin Monika Twelsiek leichte und ansprechende Klavierstücke im Anfängerbereich zusammengestellt und in progressiver Reihenfolge in drei Bänden herausgegeben.
Die Sammelbände sind als Ergänzung zur Klavierschule gedacht und eignen sich besonders für das Vorspiel an Musikschulen, für Prüfungen und für Wettbewerbe wie Jugend musiziert. Das Repertoire ist vielseitig und bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl an Stücken aus Barock, Klassik, Romantik und Moderne.

Band 1 (ED 22547) kann bereits mit Anfängern verwendet werden. Der Tonumfang der Stücke ist auf den Fünftonraum und einfachen Oktavraum beschränkt. Weitere Kriterien für die Auswahl sind einfache Rhythmik und sehr leichtes Akkordspiel. Daumenuntersatz, polyphone Mehrstimmigkeit und Pedalspiel werden noch nicht vorausgesetzt.

Band 2 (ED 22548) enthält Stücke im erweiterten Tonumfang von 2 Oktaven. Vorausgesetzt werden Daumenuntersatz, Pedalspiel, einfache Polyphonie und drei- bis vierstimmiges Akkordspiel, einfache Verzierungen, cantables Spiel und Differenzierung zwischen Melodie und Begleitung.

Band 3 (ED 22548) wendet sich an fortgeschrittene Spieler, die an ausdrucksvollem Spiel und eigenständiger Interpretation arbeiten wollen. Die Stücke stellen höhere Ansprüche an Geläufigkeit und Rhythmik, Artikulation und Phrasierung, polyphones Spiel (Mehrstimmigkeit auch in einer Hand) und an die klangliche Differenzierung des Klaviersatzes.
