In this rather simple but extremely well sounding suite in four parts, the Dutch composer Dick van Heuvel has made a musical evocation of the four basic elements of nature, namely earth, air, water and fire. The composition is written for five parts plus percussion, so here we have another fine composition for flexible instrumentation that can be played already by small bands.

Dick van Heuvel a mis en musique les quatre éléments de la nature, la terre, l'air, l'eau et le feu, dans cette suite facile mais très agréable à écouter. La pièce est répartie sur cinq voix plus la percussion. Voici encore un morceau à instrumentation flexible qui peut se jouer par diverses formations.

In deze eenvoudige maar welluidende suite worden de de vier elementen, nl. aarde, lucht, water en vuur verklankt. Het geheel is opgedeeld in vijf stemmen plus slagwerk en kan dus door diverse bezettingen uitgevoerd worden.
