Using three varying images from pursuits on the water, 'The Big Splash' has moments of excitement, soft melodies and crunching harmonies. Each section is given an opportunity to shine in this 3-part original work. Movement I entitled 'Launching' sets the scene of a speedboat accelerating into the water. 'Drifting' (mov. II) portrays images of the sunset over the water's edge and in the minor key there is a sense of thoughtfulness as well as tranquillity. The last movement has a grander feel to it. Titled 'Cruising' there are moments you can imagine a larger carrier chip setting sail as well as a sense of anticipation and excitement from those climbing aboard. Bon voyage!

En utilisant trois images variés de poursuites sur l'eau, 'The Big Splash' a des moments d'agitation, de mélodie douce et de harmonies grinchantes. Chaque partie a l'occasion de briller dans cette pièce originale en 3 mouvements. Le 1er mouvement est titré 'Launching' et décrit la scène d'un bateau de vitesse qui accélère dans l'eau. 'Drifting' (2ième mvt. ) dépeint le coucher du soleil au bord de l'eau et dans la tonalité mineure il y a un sentiment de rêverie et de tranquilité. Le dernier mouvement a plus de grandeur. Dans 'Cruising' on peut imaginer un grand navire mettant les voiles, avec le sens d'anticipation et d'adrénaline de ceux qui montent à bord. Bon voyage !

Er wordt gebruik gemaakt van drie verschillende beelden van achtervolgingen op het water. 'The Big Splash' heeft momenten van opwinding, zachte melodiën en verpletterende harmonieën. Elk van de onderdelen krijgt zijn kans om te schitteren in dit 3-delige originele werk. 'Launching' laat de muzikale speedboat in het water versnellen. 'Drifting' portretteert beelden van een zonsondergang aan het water en in de mineur is er een gevoel van bedachtzaamheid en rust. Het laatste deel heeft een grootser gevoel. Getiteld 'Cruising' Stel je voor aan boord te gaan van een enorm groot schip en vervolgens uit te varen.... de anticipatie en de adrenline van degenen die aan boord gaan. Goede Reis!
