This composition is a vocal solo with optional trumpet solo and band accompaniment. The opening key is A-flat with it changing to E-flat, but back to A-flat in the D.S. al Coda. The trumpet range is to high C above the staff. The meter signature is cut-time with the half note equal to 120 beats. Rhythmically, this is not too difficult.
