Black Watch Claude T. Smith

A well-scored original march. Black Watch is a famous Scottish regiment originating as a body of Hilanders about 1668 for keeping the peace in the Hilands. They also served in America during the American Revolution. Few British regiments can compare to the Black Watch in battle honors. The trumpet section is featured in the beginning of the work. Using memorable melodies, this work will provide for dramatic programming in a variety of concert situations.
