Originally written for piano in 1890, Debussy's 'Rêverie' was one of his earlier works in his career as a composer. The gentle and repetitive theme at the beginning of the piece feels as if a person falling into a sleeping dream-like world (as the title suggested). This adaptation for the wind band evokes the different colors of Debussy's works that show case the different groups of instruments in the band.
