This festive concert march was commissioned by the Portuguese wind band 'Banda de Música de Carregosa' on the occasion of the nomination as 'Commendator' of its president, the businessman Fernando Pinho Teixeira, in 2005. The band premiered the march in April 2006. Because of its solemn and majestic character, this lyrical and tuneful march reminds us of the music of the baroque era. This is, no doubt, a fine acquisition for the march music repertoire.

Cette marche de concert festive a été composée à la demande de l'orchestre d'harmonie portugais 'Banda de Música de Carregosa' à l'occasion de la nomination de son président, l'industriel Fernando Pinho Teixeira au titre de 'Commendator' en 2005. L'orchestre a créé cette marche en avril 2006. Le caractère solennel et majestueux de cette très mélodieuse marche évoque quelque peu la musique baroque. Voici un réel enrichissement du répertoire de marches.

Deze feestelijke concertmars werd geschreven in opdracht van het Portugese harmonieorkest 'Banda de Música de Carregosa' naar aanleiding van de benoeming van haar voorzitter, de industrieel Fernando Pinho Teixeira tot 'Commendator' in 2005 . De band speelde de mars voor het eerst in april 2006. Door het plechtige en grootse karakter doet deze erg melodieuze mars wat aan barokmuziek denken. Beslist een verrijking van het marsrepertoire.
