Carl Orff's masterpiece Carmina Burana composed in 1936 undoubtedly is one of the best-known musical creations throughout the world. By popular request, we now publish a separate edition of the opening chorus O Fortuna taken from the piano score (ED 2877) of the complete work. This new separate edition provides the opportunity to perform O Fortuna in a mixed concert.

Composé en 1936, le chef-d'uvre Carmina Burana de Carl Orff est sans doute une des uvres de musique les plus connues dans le monde entier. Faisant suite à de multiples demandes, Schott publie maintenant une édition séparée du chur d'ouverture O Fortuna, extrait de la réduction pour piano (ED 2877) de l'uvre intégrale. La nouvelle édition séparée offre la possibilité de représenter O Fortuna dans un concert mixte.
