Symphony No. 3 in C minor ("Organ") is one of Camille Saint-Saëns' most important compositions. It is the last of his five symphonies. Saint-Saëns personally conducted the premiere on 19 May 1886 at the fifth concert of the Philharmonic Society in London. He himself judged the "Organ Symphony": "I gave everything I could give there ... what I did then I have not done again." With over 1,200 titles from orchestral and choral literature, chamber music and music theatre, Edition Eulenburg is the largest score series in the world. It covers a large part of music history from the baroque to classical modernism and looks back on a long tradition.

La symphonie n° 3 en ut mineur ("Orgue") compte parmi les compositions les plus importantes de Camille Saint-Saëns. Elle est la dernière de ses cinq symphonies. Lors du cinquième concert de la Philharmonic Society de Londres, Saint-Saëns dirigea personnellement la première le 19 mai 1886. Il a lui-même porté un jugement sur la "symphonie pour orgue" : "J'ai donné là tout ce que je pouvais donner ... ce que j'ai fait alors, je ne le referai pas". Avec plus de 1.200 titres de littérature orchestrale et chorale, de musique de chambre et de théâtre musical, l'Edition Eulenburg est la plus grande série de partitions au monde.
