From Shadow to Light portrays, in four connected sections, a journey from darkness to light.The piece opens grand, heavy and tormented, but with a faint sense of hope: as if someone is trapped in a difficult period filled with tension, questions and inner struggle, while somewhere a glimmer of light remains visible. There is a fierce effort to climb out of that dark place. Then follows the turning point that leads into the second section: suddenly, a sense of combativeness ignites, an attempt, filled with anger, pride and strength, to break free. The music grinds, clashes and searches, but refuses to give in. The first light breaks through, not as gentle relief, but as something hard-won, born from willpower and determination. Whoever refuses to give up will always find a form of hope. The third section brings stillness: a phase of reflection and processing. The music opens up, as if there is finally space to understand what has happened. The light is present, but needs time to be fully accepted, a moment of contemplation and recovery. From this quietness, new strength emerges. The final section appears as a determined march: hopeful, energetic and full of direction. The new light is no longer tentative, but confident, resolute and carried by trust. Everything moves towards a positive, powerful conclusion. From Shadow to Light is a story of perseverance, healing and ultimately beginning anew in the full brightness of light

From Shadow to Light décrit, en quatre sections reliées entre elles, un voyage de l'ombre vers la lumière. La pièce s'ouvre de manière grandiose, lourde et tourmentée, mais avec une lueur d'espoir : comme si quelqu'un était prisonnier d'une période difficile, pleine de tension, de questions et de lutte intérieure, tout en apercevant malgré tout un faible rayon de lumière. On lutte intensément pour s'extraire de cet endroit sombre. Vient ensuite le moment de bascule qui introduit la deuxième partie : soudain, un esprit combatif s'enflamme, une tentative emplie de colère, de fierté et de force pour se libérer. La musique frotte, heurte, cherche, mais refuse d'abandonner. La première lumière perce l'obscurité, non comme un soulagement doux, mais comme quelque chose de durement conquis, né de la volonté et de la détermination. Celui qui n'abandonne pas trouve toujours une forme d'espoir. La troisième partie apporte le calme : une phase de réflexion et de prise de conscience. La musique s'ouvre, comme s'il y avait enfin de l'espace pour comprendre ce qui s'est passé. La lumière est présente, mais demande du temps avant d'être pleinement acceptée, un moment de contemplation et de guérison. De ce silence naît une nouvelle force. La dernière partie apparaît comme une marche résolue : pleine d'espoir, d'énergie et de direction. La nouvelle lumière n'est plus hésitante, mais confiante, déterminée et portée par la confiance. Tout converge vers une conclusion positive et puissante. From Shadow to Light est une histoire de persévérance, de transformation et, finalement, d'un nouveau départ en pleine lumière.

From Shadow to Light verklankt in vier aaneengesloten delen een reis van donker naar licht.Het stuk opent groots, zwaar en getormenteerd, maar met een vleug hoop: alsof iemand vastzit in een moeilijke periode vol spanning, vragen en innerlijke strijd, terwijl er toch ergens een glimp van verlichting zichtbaar blijft. Er wordt hard gevochten om uit die donkere plek omhoog te komen. Dan volgt het kantelmoment dat het tweede deel inleidt: plots ontvlamt er strijdlust, een poging vol woede, trots en kracht om los te breken. De muziek schuurt, botst en zoekt, maar weigert op te geven. Het eerste licht breekt door, niet als een zachte opluchting, maar als iets dat bevochten is, voortgekomen uit wil en vastberadenheid. Wie niet opgeeft, vindt altijd een vorm van hoop. Het derde deel brengt verstilling: een fase van overdenking en verwerking. De muziek opent zich, alsof er eindelijk ruimte komt om te begrijpen wat er is gebeurd. Het licht is aanwezig, maar vraagt tijd om echt toe te laten, een moment van reflectie en herstel. Uit deze stilte groeit nieuwe kracht. Het slotdeel verschijnt als een vastberaden mars: hoopvol, energiek en vol richting. Het nieuwe licht is niet langer voorzichtig, maar zelfverzekerd, strijdlustig en gedragen door vertrouwen. Alles beweegt naar een positieve, krachtige afronding. From Shadow to Light is een verhaal van doorzetten, verwerken en uiteindelijk opnieuw beginnen in het volle licht.
