By popular demand from cello teachers and Fiedel-Max fans, the Fiedel-Max performance pieces have been lovingly and professionally adapted for the cello. Four volumes of character pieces in a wide range of styles, arranged by grade, which develop playing technique on one hand, and inspire and sustain the imagination and creativity of young cellists on the other. In volume 2, fingering and hold techniques are further developed with first and second finger patterns. The range of styles is broad: among others you'll meet the dancing Suleika, a day dreamer, a marathon runner, a bow artist and you'll even say hello to Béla Bartók! Lively rhythms in different time signatures, including some surprises like a 7/4 or 5/8, but also resonant, romantic mood pictures are a highlight for every cello recital! All the pieces can be heard on the accompanying CD in a listening version (cello and piano) and also in a playalong version (just the piano accompaniment). A slower practice version is available as a free download here: An edition with piano accompaniments is available for each of the volumes for music making in music classes or at home with parents or siblings. The piano accompaniments are designed so they can be played easily by piano pupils.
