El Mismo Sol (Brass Band) Alvaro Soler / Arr. Johny Ocean

El Mismo Sol' (Translation: The Same Sun) is the debut single by Spanish singer-songwriter Álvaro Soler. The song was written by Soler together with Simon Triebel and Alexander Zuckowski for his debut studio album Eterno Agosto' (2015). The song was recorded in Berlin, where Soler lives, and was first published on the singer's personal YouTube channel. Based on the success of the video, Soler signed a contract with Universal Music and the single was made available on iTunes on 8 May 2015, marking his debut. It was an instant success and the song became one of the summer hits of 2015, reaching the top of most charts in which it appeared. Following the success of the original Spanish version, a special Spanglish version was released for the American and British markets, with additional lyrics in English and vocals by American entertainer Jennifer Lopez. Johny Ocean wrote the arrangement for concert band, fanfare and brass band for us.
