Voici un morceau plutôt court, mais d'une grande force, qui débute par une brillante fanfare de cuivres. Cette fanfare est reprise par l'orchestre sous différentes formes et par différents groupes et puis elle s'accroît vers un magnifique point culminant. Bref, encore une pièce idéale pour débuter vos concerts.

Dit is een kort maar krachtig werkje waar het kleine koper begint met een sprankelend signaal. Dit signaal komt daarna in de rest van het orkest in verschillende vormen en verschillende groepen voor om uiteindelijk gezamenlijk naar een schitterende climax te groeien. Kortom een mooi werkje om het concert mee te openen
