Die Komposition 'Pinocchio' erzählt die Geschichte der Marionette, die ein echter Junge werden kann. Er soll aber beweisen, dass er Mut hat, und er soll auf dem rechten Weg bleiben. Die verschiedenen Charaktere in dieser Geschichte werden musikalisch sehr gut geschildert. So erfährt man die Liebe von Gepetto, die gemeinen Streiche der Katze und des Fuchses und den blutdürstigen Haifisch. Das Stück ist ein Abenteuer für die Musiker und für das Publikum.

The composition Pinocchio' tells the story of the puppet that can turn into a real little boy on the condition that he can prove he is courageous and remains honest. The different characters and emotions in the story are very well described in music: from the love of Gepetto, via the mean tricks of the cat and the fox, up to the naïve Pinocchio and the bloodthirsty shark. This is a real adventure for the musicians as well as for the audience

La composition « Pinocchio » raconte l'histoire de la marionnette qui peut devenir un véritable petit garçon à condition qu'il prouve son courage et qu'il reste sur le droit chemin. Les différents aspects et caractères du récit son très bien décrits musicalement : l'amour de Gepetto, les vilains tours du chat et du renard, la naïveté de Pinocchio et la cruauté du requin. Voilà une véritable aventure pour l'orchestre et pour le public

De compositie Pinocchio vertelt het verhaal van de marionet die een echt jongetje kan worden. Hiervoor moet hij wel laten zien dat hij moed heeft en op het rechte pad blijft. De verschillende karakters in het verhaal worden door de muziek prachtig uitgelicht. Van de liefde van Gepetto, de gemene streken van de kat en de vos tot de naïeve Pinocchio en de bloeddorstige witte haai. Een avontuur voor orkest en publiek
