Die Komposition 'Pegasus' stellt die bekanntesten Geschichten über das fliegende Pferd dar. Die Geburt von Pegasus, wie er zum Sternbild wird, seine spektakulären Flüge und der Leidensweg von Bellerophon werden durch spektakuläre Orchestrierungen geschildert. Nach der Schnelligkeit von Pegasus, seinem Stolz und seiner Schönheit in den ersten zwei Teilen, wird im düsteren dritten Teil der Leidensweg von Bellerophon dargestellt. Wenn Pegasus im vierten Teil auf dem Olymp ankommt, hört man wieder die Themen aus den ersten zwei Teilen aber nun in einer heroischen Orchestrierung. Eine musikalische Darstellung einer der berühmtesten Figuren der griechischen Mythologie.
The Birth of Pegasus/Pegasus' Flight/Bellerophons Suffering

The composition 'Pegasus' tells us the legend of the mythological flying horse. The birth of Pegasus, his integration with the stars, his spectacular flights and the sufferings of Bellerophon are described by means of a rich orchestration. Pegasus's swiftness, his pride and beauty, as described in the first and second parts, give way to the dark sounds evoking the sufferings of Bellerophon. In the fourth part, Pegasus arrives at Mount Olympus, home place of the Gods, and the themes of the first and second parts are heard again, this time in a warm heroic sounding orchestration. This is a striking musical evocation of one of the most famous characters of the Greek mythology

La composition 'Pégase' raconte les plus célèbres histoires concernant le cheval ailé. La naissance de Pégase, son union avec les astres, ses vols spectaculaires et le calvaire de Bellérophon sont successivement évoqués par de superbes orchestrations. La vitesse, la fierté et la beauté de Pégase dans les deux premières parties sont remplacées dans la troisième partie par des sonorités sombres suggérant le calvaire de Bellérophon. Lorsque dans la quatrième partie Pégase arrive au Mont Olympe, les thèmes du premier et du second mouvement sont repris dans une orchestration héroïque avec de chaudes sonorités. Voici une magnifique évocation de l'un des personnages les plus célèbres de la mythologie grecque.

De compositie Pegasus vertelt ons de beroemdste verhalen over het vliegende paard. De geboorte van Pegasus, zijn eenwording met de sterren, zijn spectaculaire vluchten en de lijdensweg van Bellerophon worden door sfeervolle orkestraties beschreven. De snelheid van Pegasus, zijn trots en schoonheid in de eerste twee delen worden in het derde deel verwisseld met donkere klanken van de lijdensweg van Bellerophon. Wanneer Pegasus in deel vier op de godenberg Olympus aankomt, keren de thema's van deel één en twee terug in een warme heroïsche orkestratie. Een treffende muzikale vertolking van één van de beroemdste karakters uit de Griekse mythologie.
