The keys have been well chosen for the trumpet, and the piano accompaniment is complementary and well written. The selection of music is intriguingly random, and I can only assume that the 'undercover' in the title refers to the 'whodunnit' nature of the theme from Murder on the Orient Express. This is a well arranged book that offers excellent concert repertoire for Grade 5 players and above. The pieces are enjoyable to play and offer effective challenges to the developing player.
