Giuseppe Giordani (1751 - 1798) war ein italienischer Komponist, vor allem der Oper. Giordani ist vor allem für seine beliebte Arie 'Caro mio ben' bekannt. Dieses Lied wird auch heute noch von vielen großen Sängern, sowohl von Männern als auch von Frauen, auf der ganzen Welt gesungen. Bis vor kurzem wurde 'Caro mio' ben Giuseppe Giordani zugeschrieben, aber nach dem jüngsten Stipendium wird sein Bruder Tommaso Giordani nun zugeschrieben. In den meisten Publikationen und Aufnahmen wird Giuseppe noch immer als Komponist erwähnt. Wie auch immer, es liegt alles in der Familie.
