René Louthe (ca. 1880 - ca. 1945) was a Walloon-Belgian trumpeter and composer.
He was director of the music academy Houdeng-Aimeries in the region La Louvière in the Belgian province Hainaut, which was later named after him. He wrote a well-known Concertino for trumpet and orchestra (also available with piano), solfège lessons and theatre music.
René Louthe was the father of the composer and pianist Jean Louthe (1915 - 1936), after whom a street in Houdaing-Aimeries is named.
