Karl-Heinz Frank-Lindenfelser composer / arranger

Karl-Heinz Frank-Lindenfelser was born in 1964 and was given a tenor horn at the age of 10. The instrumental lessons, which he felt lasted about 1 - 2 years, were given by a musician from his local association. At the age of 15, he bought a "home organ" with his first "own money" (student subsidy), and after about a year of lessons in a group of four once a week, he taught himself the rest. He didn't need sheet music because from then on he only played by ear. This developed into a "solo entertainer", as which he toured the country for 25 years, until about 2009. Professionally, he ended up in the police in 1981 and thus also in the (recreational) Karlsruhe Police Music Corps, to which he still belongs today. There he also got to know playing in a brass ensemble and wrote his first brass quintet for it, the "Kleine Festmusik".
Due to his shift work for the police and his numerous obligations as a dance musician, he was unable to pursue a classical conducting career in brass music. Eventually he took over the direction of a "Guggenmusik" and wrote four- to five-part scores for this and another group for ten years.
In 2003 he began to write more of his own compositions and folk song arrangements for brass quartet, quintet and trio and to publish them on the internet via various sheet music providers. His repertoire includes over a hundred individual titles.

As composer of the work "Tutti insieme (All together)", for brass class and brass orchestra, he now also enriches the repertoire for larger brass ensembles.
