The Swedish composer Wilhelm Peterson-Berger (1867-1942) wrote 16 pieces for piano solo divieded into three books named "Frösöblomster".
The first of these books was published in 1914 and included the beautiful "Sommer Song".
In Scaninavna, the piece is well known within the band movement thanks to this masterful setting by Stig Gustafson.

I Norge er "Sommarsong" godt kjent i korpsbevelgelsen takket være dette nydelige arrangmentet for janitsjarbesetning av Stig Gustafson.
