Robert Allmend wrote a series of marches inspired by regions, countries or towns. After the Alps, America, the Ardennes, China, Europe, Paris, Luxembourg and Berlin, it is now the fashionable Italian seaside resort of Viareggio that is honoured by an Allmend march. The popular Toscan tourist attraction undoubtedly deserves this homage.

Après les Alpes, l'Amérique, les Ardennes, la Chine, l'Europe, Paris, Luxembourg et Berlin, voici que la ville balnéaire et mondaine italienne de Viareggio est honorée par une marche. Ce beau site en Toscane, l'une des toutes grandes attractions touristiques au bord de la Mer Tyrrhénienne, mérite incontestablement cet hommage.

Na de Alpen, Amerika, de Ardennen, China, Europa, Parijs, Luxemburg en Berlijn is het dit keer de populaire mondaine Italiaanse badstad Viareggio die met een mars vereerd wordt. De Toscaanse toeristische trekpleister aan de Tyrrheense zee, Viareggio is beslist deze hulde waard.
