A Christmas Gathering Randall D. Standridge

A Christmas Gathering is a joyful and energetic piece for multiple ability levels, allowing you to show off your entire program to your community and concert audiences. The work begins with a rousing intro that gives way to a feature for the youngest players (Grade .5, Jingle Bells), before allowing our mid-level players a moment to shine (Jolly Old St. Nicholas, Grade 1.5). Then, the advanced students get their moment (Deck the Halls, Grade 3), after which the Percussion section will wow the crowd with The Ukrainian Bell Carol (percussion ensemble moment). Then, the entire band joins back in to say goodbye to the crowd with We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
