"There is magic in all beginnings" - Göthe already recognised that there is something magical in the new. This thought is also the source of inspiration for the piece "Something new to believe in". In the beginning, the composition gives the horn the main musical part with catchy melodies full of positive power. After the middle section mystically and almost somewhat wistfully expresses a look into the past, a brilliant finale follows in which the various motifs of the piece intermingle and culminate in a hymn of praise to the acceptance of the past and the fascination of the new.

In het begin geeft de compositie de hoorn de muzikale hoofdrol met pakkende melodieën vol positieve kracht. Nadat het middendeel op mystieke en bijna ietwat weemoedige wijze een blik in het verleden uitdrukt, volgt een briljante finale waarin de verschillende motieven van het stuk zich vermengen en culmineren in een lofzang op de acceptatie van het verleden en de fascinatie van het nieuwe.
