Homage to the Dream is composer Mark Camphouse's tribute to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his famous "I Have A Dream" speech given on August 28, 1963, in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. Originally written in 2013 for the 50th anniversary of the speech and revised for publication in 2025, this piece portrays Dr. King's courageous determination and strength of character with music ranging in moods of expansive radiance to quiet religiosity.
