In 1999 brachte Metallica eine Liveversion von Nothing Else Matters' heraus, in Zusammenarbeit mit the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra' unter der Leitung von Michael Kamen. Diese Bearbeitung inspirierte Bocci um eine Bearbeitung für das Harmonieorchester zu machen.

In 1999 the band Metallica released a live recording of Nothing Else Matters' in cooperation with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen. This version inspired Bocci to make this orchestration for band.
