The small village of Giruan is dirty and its inhabitants lazy and argumentative. One day, a mysterious blue ray sends all the adults into a deep sleep, urging them to reflect on the potential for peace. The children take on the organisation of the village, cleaning up, providing food, pouring all alcohol into the river and generally helping one another. When the adults re-awaken, they are forced to recognise that peace is indeed possible. Frieden auf dieser Welt is an interactive musical in which the substantial chorus part and solo roles are suitable for children and young persons.
