Nabucco was Giuseppe Verdi's third opera and the one that established his reputation as a composer. It premiered in 1842 at the Teatro La Scala in Milan. One of Verdi's best-loved choruses is probably 'Va' Pensiero', from this opera (and symphony). With Ofburg's arrangement using our Casual Band system, this splendid symphony is within the grasp of most bands.
