The Easy Concert Pieces series for alto saxophone and piano provides easy to intermediate pieces from the Renaissance to the modern era for music lessons, concert performances or private music-making. The volumes with accompanying audio recording add to the not very extensive repertoire of performance pieces for saxophone. They were carefully selected according to technical and musical requirements and are arranged in three volumes according to their level of difficulty. All pieces are included in the accompanying mp3 pack as demo and play-along versions (piano accompaniment). The piano part contained in the volume is very easy so that it can even be played by a pupil, e.g. at a music school concert. Volume 1 (ED 22553) contains easy pieces which mainly range from d to c, occasionally even to d. The keys range from C to D major or the respective minor keys. This volume contains works by Charpentier, Vivaldi, Handel, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Smetana, Pütz, Moser, and others. Volume 2 (ED 22554) contains intermediate pieces ranging from c to e, with unusual metres and demisemiquavers appearing occasionally. Including works by Wolkenstein, Peuerl, Schein, Purcell, Telemann, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Gounod, Humperdinck, Elgar, and others. Volume 3 (ED 22942) in preparation: Will contain pieces at even higher levels of difficulty and add further works to the repertoire.

La série « Easy Concert Pieces » propose un riche filon de pièces de répertoire pour les cours, les concerts et la pratique de loisir, minutieusement compilées selon différents aspects pédagogiques par Ulrich Junk. Ce cahier constitue un complément idéal à toute méthode de saxophone. Du Baroque à la musique moderne, les morceaux couvrent une large gamme de styles et sont d'une grande diversité. La partie de piano est simple et donc idéale pour les auditions à deux élèves. Pas de pianiste sous la main ? L'enregistrement par un professionnel servira de partenaire de jeu. Le premier volume (ED 22553) contient un répertoire facile : la plupart du temps entre Ré3 et Do5. Les tonalités se situent entre Do et Ré Majeur ainsi que sur les modes mineurs correspondants. Ce volume comprend des oeuvres de Charpentier, Vivaldi, Haendel, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Smetana, Pütz, Moser et bien d'autres. Le troisième volume (ED 22554) contient du répertoire d'un niveau intermédiaire. L'ambitus va de Do3 à Mi5. Occasionnellement, des rythmes inhabituels et des triples-croches font leur entrée. Ce volume comprend des uvres de Wolkenstein, Peuerl, Schein, Purcell, Telemann, Haendel, Mozart, Beethoven, Gounod, Humperdinck, Elgar, et bien d'autres. Die Reihe Easy Concert Pieces bietet eine reichhaltige Fundgrube an leicht spielbarer Spielliteratur für Unterricht, Konzert und Freizeit sorgfältig nach pädagogischen Gesichtspunkten zusammengetragen von Ulrich Junk.
