Mixtures David J. Long

Mixtures uses three main categories of sound sources: metal, membrane, and wood. After each is heard separately, the sources are mixed (some by performer choice) in a partially aleatoric section which is followed by an imitative section that includes all three sources.

Mixtures verwendet drei Hauptkategorien von Klangquellen: Metall, Membran und Holz. Nachdem jeder einzeln gehört wurde, sind die Quellen in einem teilweise aleatorischen Abschnitt gemischt (einige nach Wahl des Ausführenden), gefolgt von einem imitativen Abschnitt, der alle drei Quellen enthält.
