Here Comes the Prince On A Horse! Procession of the Prince uses the first 6 notes learned in most band method books, simple rhythms with repetition, and simple counterpoint while still maintaining a grade half difficulty. This piece will work with limited instrumentation comprised of flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, and trombone. Composer Christine M. Richardson wrote lyrics to the melody to aid in learning the 8th note rhythms. The melody and lyrics are printed on the back of each student part.
