My work lautlos II for solo cello further explores the idea of an inner dialogue between the performer and his or her instrument, in a manner similar to my previous work lautlos I. The instrumentalist should take great care in allowing the fragmentary elements to merge seamlessly with one another, creating a flowing conversation'. At the same time however, there should still be sufficient space for tonal and rhythmic sculptures to display the splendid beauty of this instrument, with its broad range of tonal colours and sound effects. Mon uvre lautlos II pour violoncelle seul, comme son prédécesseur lautlos I, suit l'idée d'un dialogue intérieur entre le joueur et son instrument. Le joueur doit veiller à ce que les éléments fragmentaires se fondent harmonieusement, afin de communiquer un "discours" fluide. Néanmoins, les sculptures sonores et rythmiques individuelles doivent avoir suffisamment d'espace pour permettre à la beauté de l'instrument de s'exprimer dans toutes ses nuances sonores, jusqu'au bruit.
