" I ask for one day where I don't have to hear about pain, or life that's lost, I ask for one day where whispers of hope are alive inside my heart" ("je prie pour un jour où nous n'ayons pas à entendre parler de souffrances ou d'une vie qui s'est perdue, je prie pour un jour où les chuchotements d'espoir seront vivants dans mon cur"). Ces lignes, écrites en atelier d'écriture par une petite fille de sixième, ont tellement ému le compositeur qu'il les prit pour base à cette enthousiasmante composition.
