After the Romance op. 37 (ZM 29500) and the Odelette op. 162 (ZM 29420), Werner Richer now presents two movements from the Carnaval in rearranged versions for flute and piano. ?La volière? is the showpiece for the flutist, whereas ?Le cygne? is originally a cello piece and has been transposed an octave to keep the cello character.

Le Carnaval des Animaux compte parmi les ?uvres les plus populaires de Saint-Saëns. Après Romance op. 37 (ZM 29500) et Odelette op. 162 (ZM 29420) Werner Richter nous présente maintenant deux mouvements arrangés pour flûte et piano. La Volière est une pierre précieuse pour le flûtiste, Le Cygne, à l'origine écrit pour violoncelle, a été transposé à l'octave supérieure pour la flûte.
