Concerto for Orchestra in a Version for Wind Band

Concerto for Orchestra in a Version for Wind Band Bela Bartok / Arr. André Reichling

Wind Band - This composition in five parts was originally written for symphony orchestra in 1943. It is one of his best known and most accessible works of Bartok. The traditional concert was written for solo instrument with orchestra accompaniment. However, this work is not a solo work. Bartók, however, chose the word concert instead of symphony for the soloist and virtuoso handling of the orchestra sections.
