This volume contains three fragments from different creative periods in Schoenberg's life as a composer: the "Serenade" in D major for small orchestra (1896), the symphonic poem "Death of Spring" based on a poem by Nikolaus Lenau (1898) and a work written almost 50 years later with the title "Fanfare for a Bowl Concert on motifs of the Gurrelieder" for brass instruments and percussion (1945). The "Serenade" in D major and "Death of Spring" are published here for the first time.

Ce volume contient trois fragments de périodes différentes : la "Sérénade" en ré majeur pour petit orchestre (1896), le poème symphonique "Frühlingstod" d'après un poème de Nikolaus Lenau (1898) et une oeuvre occasionnelle, composée presque 50 ans après, portant le titre de" Fanfare for a Bowl Concert on Motifs of Die Gurrelieder" pour cuivres et percussion (1945). La "Sérénade" en ré majeur et "Frühlingstod" sont une première édition.
