Russian Folk Song Suite is a collection of three contrasting movements taken from the orchestral work "Eight Russian Folksongs, Op. 58" by Anatoly Lyadov. Originally written in 1905, these short pieces, transcribed here for concert band by Bill Calhoun, stay true to the original in both character and performance techniques. A colorful addition to the repertoire for the concert band.
