Spirit Of Honor Alexander Reuber
The present work was commissioned by the Musikverein "Lyra" -Brachbach (Germany) in 2016 and was premiered under the title "for Lui" on the occasion of the concert to hand over the baton of Ludwig Griffel, called Lui, to one of his son Christoph.
Trumpeter Ludwig Griffel, 40 years as conductor and musical director of the home club, the music club "Lyra" -Brachbach active.
To honor this, Alexander Reuber has created a very emotional work, in which the musical development of "Lui" unfolds with a pleasant sound carpet of the orchestra - from the quiet beginnings to a sound image at the height of musical activity. Striking are the interwoven signals of the trumpet, which are performed in variations through all registers of the band.
