This work integrates several very opposite characters trying to describe the feelings of the composer confronted with the melting pot of two very different cultures.

It begins in an atmosphere influenced by Zen.

One can also recognize rhythms from Japanese drums (wadaiko) as well as more binary rhythms influenced by the West.

Nomenclature: Pedal bass drum, four toms, two bongos.
