Since the formation meeting in Passau in 1961, the choral festival 'Europa Cantat', which is held in a three-year cycle, has for the first time taken place in Germany, in the city of Mainz. A special choir-book has been compiled for the daily Open Singing events and additional European 'Choreley', containing almost 70 compositions and folk songs for mixed choir from almost all European countries in their original languages, from the Renaissance to the present day, as well as some popular titles and also new and less known arrangements of popular titles. A real treasure chest which should be part of any choral music library.

Depuis 1961, date de la première rencontre à Passau lors de sa création, le festival choral "Europa Cantat", qui se tient tous les trois ans, a eu lieu pour la première fois en Allemagne, dans la ville de Mayence. Un livre spécial a été compilé, réunissant presque 70 compositions et chansons populaires pour choeur mixte, provenant de presque tous les pays européens dans leurs langues originales et allant de la Renaissance à l'époque moderne. S'y trouvent également des titres populaires dans de nouveaux arrangements moins connus. Un vrai trésor qui ne saurait manquer dans une bibliothèque.
