Composed for the 90th birthday of György Kurtág, the only five-minute trio is characterized by a condensed, contemporary spirit of playing. The change between piccolo and alto flute, magical sound surfaces of the piano and the scordatura of the cello again and again lead to new combinations. The piece concludes, with a wink, with a gradual downward move in quarter-tone steps on the low string of the cello to the Contra G, the initial of the composer celebrating his birthday.

Composé à l'occasion du 90e anniversaire de György Kurtág, le trio d'une durée de seulement cinq minutes est caractérisé par un esprit contemporain comprimé du jeu. Le changement entre petite flûte et flûte alto, la magie des surfaces sonores du piano et la scordatura du violoncelle mènent encore et encore à des combinaisons nouvelles.
